Watch :: Former WU LYF Frontman's New Project LUH
"unites is a simple love song. A song of longing for balance in a world where we slump & grind to a senseless algoriddim of fractious complexity. A song for lovers, numbered by the placid plateau of conform-core modernity. The personal is political as never before, and all those that make the choice to step away sing Luvah’s Song. I wrote this for you, for her, for every longing breath lost under heaven’s refracted light.
are you ready/ to see this world open up before you?"
LUH (Lost Under Heaven) is the united partnership between ex-WU LYF vocalist Ellery James Roberts and Ebony Hoorn.
For their debut, 'Unites' comes with visuals - produced by themselves - showing them in an empty room rotating around while images are projected onto them. 'Unite' includes additional beat sequencing and arrangement by Yousif Al-Karaghouli.
Roberts announced his departure from WU LYF, who had formed in Manchester in 2008, by way of a video which appeared on YouTube in November 2012 for a new track accompanied by a letter directed towards his bandmates, stating: "I am gone. This isn't the end. This is the beginning."
