Formerly known as We The People, we previously featured Swim Season in our September Australia New Music round-up, after having rebranded this summer - and become acclaimed as one of the most exciting acts coming out of Melbourne.
The five-piece indie pop rockers relaunched themselves in August with the explosive first track, 'The Throne'. Now they follow this up with the release last week of 'Hide & Seek', a playful little number that's crisp indie-pop, fused with shimmering guitar hooks, punchy percussion, and subtle harmonies.
‘Hide & Seek’ highlights how far they have come in such a short space of time, and is inspired by their first forays into the music industry. The video employs digitally manipulated faces mouthing the song's lyrics.
Swim Season are: James - vocals / guitar / synth; Dani - keys / synth / percussion; Brandon - bass; Matt - guitar / vocals; Jon - drums.
