It's a new side to contemplate for anyone familiar with Welsh trio - now to be found lurking on the wild side of North London - Trampolene.
From their (Jack Jones, vocals, guitar; Wayne Thomas, bass, vocals; Mr. Williams (drums, vocals) previous releases such as 'My Bourgeoisie Girl', 'I Don't Know', 'Alcohol Kiss', we have come to expect a vast array of lacerating riffs, gritty basslines, rawkin' vocals - all wrapped up in a big ball of energy.
For this new piece, ‘Newcastle Brown Love Song’, there is a change of pace and sentiment. A heartfelt lo-tempo that instead of pummelling your ears into submission, slowly caresses them on a song where Jones can ask, “Do you still wanna love me now?" - and a thousand female fans all respond in the affirmative.
Watch the video, filmed by Simon Sarin, to ‘Newcastle Brown Love Song’ unveiled today below - be warned: a handkerchief may be required. The track is available now as a free download until November 30 by clicking here.
You can hear it live when Trampolene play Queen of Hoxton, London on November 12.
