About to start their run of UK dates this week, The Cribs - Gary, Ross and Ryan Jarman - are set to release the first single ‘Burning For No One’, taken from their sixth album, ‘For All Our Sisters' out on March 23 via Sonic Blew/Sony Red.
Accorded 'Hottest Record In The World' on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show, ’Burning For No One’ (which was recorded last autumn at New York’s Magic Shop Studio with former Cars frontman Ric Ocasek (Weezer), heralds the much-vaunted return of the trio, which sees Gary taking lead vocal duties overseeing a pop edged three minute flourish that continues to see the brothers bristle with renewed vigour, a new home and boundless self belief.
The Cribs will be hitting the road with a short run of intimate shows, including an NME Awards show and an appearance this year’s 6Music Festival in Newcastle.
