Watch :: Jack Robert Hardman - Nuclear Family

Berkshire-based singer/songwriter Jack Robert Hardman has a reputation for crafting intelligent, well thought-out lyrics with melodious accompaniment, and for his first work of 2015, 'Nuclear Family' is certainly that.

The song, he says, "was actually written as a collaboration with Hamish Steele, an animator from London. Hamish had the basics of the animation made before I came in, and I had to write a song to suit the mood and feel of it. Hamish told me the story was about how the seemingly happiest families can actually be the most dysfunctional, and how behind closed doors most families have their darker sides."

You can watch the results of the collaboration with Steele - with whom JR had previously worked on the whimsical 'Living In A Watering Can' - on the 'Nuclear Family' video below.

Expect a new EP later in the year, ad well as live dates with a new band set-up.
