The debut offering from Dry The River's Matthew Taylor, taken from his upcoming EP 'SLOWLANDS'.
The Redditch-based guitarist gets his own space in the four-minute 'Evangeline (I Need a Sign)'. Taken at an unhurried pace (perhaps deriving some inspiration from DTR's time spent recording their latest album in Iceland), there's nevertheless a warming feel to the arrangement of simple guitar, piano and smoothly delivered vocal.
'SLOWLANDS' is released on March 30.
