Listen :: kosoti - Gone Too Far
Formed in late 2013, kosoti are a Newcastle six-piece folk/pop group, that were put together by Dublin-born Allan Hyslop and Christos Worsley, formerly of Newcastle band Waiting For Volkaerts. Partly inspired by undergoing brain surgery and a near-death experience that same year that lead singer/songwriter Hyslop underwent, after who subsequently felt propelled to value each moment of life and make the best out of music.
Within six months they had not only released 'War' and 'Pirouettes', a double A-sided digital single, but also released the 'Cradle' EP. With new release 'Gone Too Far' they meld together a combination of well-crafted lyrics and ambient folk-pop melody.
kosoti are: Allan Hyslop - vocals, acoustic guitar; Rebecca Gregson - vocals; Christos Worsley - bass, vocals; Seth Tinsley - electric guitar; George Hutton - drums, percussion; Paul Holdsworth - banjo.
