Just as they headed to the USofA last week to play dates in Los Angeles and Houston prior to their SXSW shows next week (see poster below), Australian trio SAFIA have just released (March 13) their latest single, 'Counting Sheep'.
Fusing synths and and pop sensibilities, the Canberra outfit - producers Ben Woolner, vocals, drummer Michael Bell, and guitarist Harry Sayers (who made a name for themselves by supporting Lorde on her Australian tour last year) -manage to create a sound which is just a little bit to the left of other 'indietronica' artists. We particularly like the 'clip-clop' horses' hooves effect here!
