Released this week, the second track (following their intro last year with ‘Pushed’) from Brooklyn's darkgaze outfit Cloak, 'Understand'.
The New York four-piece - which comprises Sam Tyndall, Adam De Rosa, Oliver Edsforth, all of whom were members of the band ArpLine, and percussionist Brian Mulvaney - blend the darker edges of shoegaze with an experimental type of industrial noise rock, coated with a veil of electronic distortion; all of which combine to make 'Understand' an intense, intriguing four-minute banger.
Cloak play Brooklyn’s Palisades on August 16.
