Kids With Torches are about to release their second album 'This Heart Beats With Home' on August 21. Now the fact that a band - or duo to be precise in this case - is on to a second work when you weren't even aware of a first, may come as much of a surprise to you as it did us.
The new album comes three years after their self-titled debut, and on hearing atmospheric electro-pop cut 'Headlights', you question why they haven't made inroads before...? One reason may be because south of England-based Miles Taylor (vocals) and Matt Royal (instruments/ programming) are mainly a studio project with just a few live dates under their belt. Something they may need to address, along with getting their publicity machine oiled. It's a tough world out there and every artist needs to fight to get heard. We wish KWT luck.
