While Pet Shop Boys purists may baulk at such a complete change of one of the most played and recognised of 80s tracks, 'West End Girls', if you can put the original out of your mind this revamp - produced by Travis Barker - by San Diego duo Prayers has a certain pull. Sharp synths cut into Leafar Seyer's layered vocals, and takes the electronic track on a journey that cuts a menacing edge.
