He's 19-years-old, and sounds, with his raspy howls, like he's going on 50 vocally, having lived a life fuelled by cigarettes and whiskey; he looks like a be-hatted James Bay hybrid, yet is from the other side of the globe. And, singer-songwriter-guitarist Ollie English is going to blow your socks off.
The Australian musician from Adelaide is a soul-blues singer - both of which he seems to possess in droves - whose early influences included greats James Brown and John Lee Hooker, both of which can be detected in 'I Know You're Gonna Leave', the first single from his debut EP 'Cabin Thoughts', set for release in late October.
