As our Track Of The Day back in July with their debut 'City Of Culture', Irish post-punk trio Slow Riot now deliver what must surely rank as a near six-minute minor epic.
‘Demons’ is the new single taken from the Limerick trio's ‘Cathedral’ EP which is out on October 23 via Straight Lines Are Fine.
‘Demons’ is less raucous, less angular to its predecessor; more dark, more compelling, and that urgent driving beat that works with the stunning guitar in the opening minute to make your spine shiver and your heart weep. As for Niall Clancy's resonant and stirring vocal, where does one begin with the superlatives? One of the best voices currently around.
