YAK Reveal Blistering Video For 'No' And Unveil UK Tour

Words: Linn Branson

The incendiary guitar-fest sprawl and Oli Burslem's Lydon-like bellowing of "out of the woods" in YAK's new single 'No' is only equalled by the colour conversion in the newly unveiled visuals for the track which should come with a health warning of not only likely to cause deafness, but may induce epileptic convulsions.

Even watching at a distance, with a one-eyed squint, there's no getting away from the slap-in-the-face effect of the Douglas Hart-directed (who has also worked with The Libertines, Palma Violets, My Bloody Valentine and The Horrors), clip.

Watch with caution. And sunglasses.

'No' is the title track from their second EP, produced by Pulp’s Steve Mackey and out on November 13.
