Nina Nesbitt marks return with 'Chewing Gum' and new album

Nina Nesbitt has unveiled the video for her comeback single. ‘Chewing Gum’, which sees the 21-year-old return with a new sound and a new look, comes from the 'Modern Love’ EP out on February 5 via Island Records.

It’s been two years since she released her debut album ‘Peroxide’, with the period spent working on a new collection of songs that she feels truly reflect who she is.

The ‘Modern Love’ EP, she says, “represents a new state of mind, a new person and a new life. It's a big departure from the 17-year-old girl with an acoustic guitar but it feels like the most honest music I've written. ‘Chewing Gum’ is an empowering track that I wrote about the transient types of relationships people have when they’re trying to figure out what they want and they’re not ready to fully commit.”

Following recent support slots with Ella Eyre and John Newman at the end of 2015, Nina will be playing three warm-up headline shows in January in London, Manchester and Glasgow - all of which sold out in under 30 minutes.
