New Zealand's latest songstress to note and already knocking at Lorde's door, is Maddie North, or So Below, the name by which her haunting vocals are better known under.
With her self-titled debut EP released last week, one listen to latest single cut 'Far' will tell you why the goth pop singer has made such a startling impact. Sparse, compelling it takes her processed vocals and layers them over simple, dark electro beats.
With over 130,000 streams of her first singles 'Drift', 'Sleep' and 'Luna', So Below looks like adding several zeros more to that total.
