Recently featured as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, on the rise MC Loyle Carner has unveiled ‘Stars & Shards’, his new single which will be released on AMF Records on June 17.
Crossing East Coast hip-hop, jazz-inflected portraits of South London, and soulful, laid back poetry, with Carner’s lyrical honesty - ‘Stars & Shards’ is about one of Carner’s friends who lost their way - the follow-up to debut ‘A Little Late’ EP and last single ‘Aint Nothing Changed’ is sure to win him even more plaudits.
As well as the new single and tour, the London-based artist has recently teamed up for a charity project with GOMA Collective. Together they are setting up a cookery school for children aged between 14 - 16 living with ADHD. More information here.
