Summer Heart - aka David Alexander - the Swedish alt-pop artist, has just unveiled his 'Colours' EP which is out on April 8, and comes after a somewhat lengthy process when he wasn't happy with the second LP he had just completed, so scrapped the lot and produced this EP instead.
Originally called 'Sommarhjärta' (Swedish for 'summer heart'), but opting for the easier English variant, David wrote the EP during a period spent in London, although 'Colours' suggests much more sun-drenched ambience than could surely have been inspired by our British weather.
'Just Wanna Get High' from the EP, is a psych refrain with shades of Tame Impala with dreamy lo-fi vocals, driving beat with drum machine and some synth layers.
