Watch :: Dan Croll gets his water wings on for 'Swim'
Dan Croll's new single is the quirky addictive electro/pop number 'Swim'. The track - Annie Mac's Hottest Record In The World last week on her Radio One show - is the first taste of Croll's forthcoming second album due for release through Communion Records early next year.
Produced by Ben Allen and recorded in America in Atlanta, 'Swim' is an uplifting, electronically propelled slice of indie, helmed by Croll's distinctive vocals and incisive lyric writing. Rebecca Hawley - from Liverpool band Stealing Sheep - features on the infectious chorus.
The accompanying video embraces water and so much more. "I wanted something that got across the swimming metaphor but also got across the more intimate, anxious side of the song," Dan reveals.
Having recently wooed crowds at Bushstock festival back in June, Dan will play his only London headline show this year at Village Underground on October 5.
Tickets: Gigsandtours
