PALMAS - FLOWERS
New single, released last week, from the Philadelphia retro indie five-piece, following their 'To The Valley' debut EP. Surf styled with sweeping instrumentation and soulful harmonies. Star rating: ★★

First official single from the London-based duo, Richard Sturges and Rob Weaver. Layered with choppy guitars, dreamy vocals and a psych underbelly amidst a rockier base. Catch live on October 14 at The Victoria, London (Courts support). Star rating: ★★




SEA BED - GENEVA
Follow-up to 'Young' from the Brighton-based duo - Lizzie Massey (vocals, bass, keys, programming) and Jim Corbin (guitars, keyboards, programming) - and taken from their forthcoming EP 'The Art Of Living' released on October 10 via Four Thieves Records. RnB-fused hazy pop rhythms, which the band describe as "a song about deceit, deception and betrayal." Catch live on October 12 at The Old Firestation, Bournemouth. Star rating: ★★




APRIL TOWERS - GET RECOVERED
New single of oscillating melodies and experimental synths from the Nottingham electro pop duo - Alex Noble (vocals, guitars, keys) and Charlie Burley (production, samples, guitars, keys) - out on LAB Records on October 7, and co-produced by the band and electronic producer Ben Pearce. On tour now, catch next at Hockley Hustle Festival, Nottingham on October 9. Star rating: ★★




KRUSOE - RIVERS RUN RIOT
The Oxford-based artist describes this new track as "about the madness of love and its tumultuous nature." Eerily mesmerizing, built on subtle hints of electronica, with airy synths, driving percussion and velvet smooth vocals which take it to another level. Taken from the debut EP 'Give Up The Coast' released on October 14. Star rating: ★★
