The xx announce UK/European tour for 2017

Words: Ellie Ward

After recently announcing live shows in South America, Eastern Europe and Japan, The xx have now revealed further plans for a UK and European tour early next year.

The band will be touring their third album, ‘I See You’, which is released on January 13 2017 via Young Turks.

The album, which was recorded between March 2014 and August 2016 in New York, Texas, Reykjavik, Los Angeles and London and produced by the band’s Jamie Smith, plus Rodaidh McDonald, has been described as “more outward-looking, open and expansive”.
