We introduced New York synth duo Alexandra Stewart and Russ Flynn here a year ago, with 'I’m Already Gone'.
While Russ may have gone, Brooklyn-based Canadian Alexandra is back as an ACES solo venture with 'If I Could Be Your Girl', her first release of this year.
Once again her gossamer vocals woozily reign over a downtempo electronic pop base jam of synth and guitar, as she hauntingly points out, “I’m talking to you clearly / but you’re clearly killing me.”
