'Poison To Medicine' is the latest cut to be shared by Blak Emoji ahead of the release of his debut 'Intro' EP, out today (January 20).
Kicking off with a arpeggiated synth line, the song (which features the Dresden Dolls’ Brian Viglione on drums) goes on to tell a cautionary tale but still manages to keep frontman Kelsey Warren’s effortless R&B-tinged vocals - already drawing comparisons to artists like Blood Orange, Twin Shadow and How To Dress Well at the forefront.
