Track Of The Day :: Callum Pitt - You'd Better Sell It While You Can

Words: Linn Branson

Newcastle indie-folk newcomer Callum Pitt combines finger-picked folk riffs with a stunning falsetto voice in such a way that you can bet your bottom dollar this 21-year-old will be all over the shop before long.

Drawing on influences from the likes of The War On Drugs, Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes, 'You'd Better Sell It While You Can' - digitally released on February 24 via Kaleidoscope Records (but which originally appeared on his 2015 'Get Lost' EP - written when he was a mere 15-years-old) - is the Geordie singer-songwriter's eminently tune-worthy single that while being laid back, is not without its infectious melodies, nimble guitar riffs and an engaging hum-along-to refrain.
