Dark, swooning, immersive and decidedly hypnotic, Brooklyn-based 'ambient pop collective' led by songwriter Greg Gonzalez, Cigarettes After Sex, have a pop-noir piece of gorgeousness in 'Apocalypse'.
Taken from their self-titled debut album which will be out on June 9 on Partisan Records, Gonzalez’s vocals are whispered and confidential as they hover over subdued drums and delicate, ethereal guitar arpeggios. A slow-burn five minutes of perfection.
The band embark on a raft of European and UK dates in April.
