** PREMIERE ** FEVA - Ain't Nobody
Words: Ellie Ward
Little Indie featured their debut single 'Waiting Room' back in February, now alt-indie rock four-piece FEVA return with new track, 'Ain't Nobody'.
Released today (July 10), we are pleased to premiere this latest from the rising Newcastle outfit, which drummer Danny Castro describes as "a bit more 'in your face' than some of our other songs. We wanted to write something really rough and raw sounding that would open the set well."
'Rough and raw' is a good description of the 140-second rock belter that runs at fever pitch throughout, helmed by Sam Reynolds tightly controlled vocals.
"This was a song that was kind of thrown together, we didn't expect it to stick but such was the reception it got we kept it," says Sam. "I actually just repeated the first verse twice round live; I only wrote the second verse when we decided to record it. I love the raw energy and rock 'n' roll vibe it has."
Tune in below.
FEVA are: Sam Reynolds (vocals, guitar), James Gibbons (guitar), Tomo Errington (bass), Danny Castro (drums)
