There is not much we can tell you about Japanese shoegazers bokunofune, only that there some pretty nice guitar sounds going on here in 'HAL', and though we don't really have a clue about the lyrics, you can still imagine that they are going to have a following back home, and possibly elsewhere.
The track is from the Tokyo quartet's debut 'By The Sea' EP. The 'watery' element is further captured in the band's name translating as “my boat”, we are informed. And, says the email that accompanied this track, "I’m sure that this boat is not gorgeous like Queen Elizabeth" - presumably that's the QEII and not Her Majesty. Made us laugh though!
