The Connor in question here is no less than 23-year-old JAWS vocalist Connor Schofield. With the Brum band's pedigree, this debut single from the now
South London-based singer, 'Sun Burns', definitely craves a listen.
Out now via Loose Narrative, this is the first taste of his solo venture, and departs from JAWS material in its raw, stripped back, yet poignant nature. The track is accompanied by a homemade video depicting the struggles of life in London (and a few cats).
Connor explains: "The song is basically just about being bored in London. That’s kind of what the whole project is about really. For a city so big, full of so many beautiful people and exciting things to do, it can be an incredibly lonely place at times."
