The new single from The K's, 'Sarajevo', released last Friday (July 28), is a big, bold number that can only further enhance this four-piece indie band from Newton-le-Willows (midway between Manchester and Liverpool).
After taking time off last year, they have re-emerged fresher and raring to go, and in putting out live favourite, the three and a half minute 'Sarajevo,' as a single shows the power of material they have at their disposal.
Its driving sound of wiry guitars, bombastic drums and the scathingly raw vocals of Jamie Boyle, hit the ground running, as might be expected from a song about Franz Ferdinand's murder that led to WWI.
