Listen :: Feather Beds - Soft Yellow

Words: Ellie Ward

First heard by Little Indie two years ago with 'Airbrushed', taken from his acclaimed debut album 'The Skeletal System', Dublin electronica/shoegaze artist Feather Beds is back with his second album 'Blooming, out on October 27 via Montreal, Canada-based label Moderna Records.

Check out Michael Orange's - the Feather Bed man in question - new single ‘Soft Yellow’: a golden shimmer combination of atmospheric piano and electronica, underpinning roomy vocals and a timely seasonal lyrical theme: “The leaves outside are falling / something here is dying / I tried to remember / to gain an advantage / performances are dropping / the engine won’t stop stalling.”
