You can never have too many gold watches - and you certainly can't have enough of Sydney alt-post-punk-pop artist Cody Munro Moore's (of Big White and New Lovers) 'Gold Watches'.
This lead track on his just released (September 15 via his own Dinosaur City Records label) nine-track debut 'Perfume Nightmare' album, is gold minted through and through.
There's a strong earworm pop element to his work, coupled with intelligent lyrics and infectious Cure-like melodies. Add to that flashes of sexy sax, gloriously twinkling keys/ synths, effervescent drums and his own unique vocal quality that aces it.
