Something soothing, yet energizing, Majik bring more sultry and seductive vocals and rap interludes to a compelling, ambient mix on 'Talk To Me', the new single taken from their forthcoming debut EP, ‘Under The Influence’.
Following '27' from back in the summer, the duo - Scottish producer/guitarist Jamie and Bucks-based vocalist Marcus - bring more atmospheric electronic R&B to this latest offering, fusing their pared down electronic soundscapes, heady mix of lush chords and potent lyrics.
“'Talk To Me' comes from the undercurrents of a collapsing relationship at the point where you just want to 'live' and be free. It's the 'all or nothing' mind-set clashing with it being 'time to let it go' and the journey from one to the other," they say of the song.
