** VIDEO PREMIERE ** Deep.Sleep - Soho

Words: Linn Branson

Deep.Sleep, the Newcastle-based alt-indie band described as 'The 1975 meets New Order', drop their new single 'Soho' on October 6 through End Of The Trail Records.

Prior to release, the band are premiering their video for the track - the follow-up to '1994' - which as a Sunday surprise, Little Indie is pleased to give you a first view of. It's a fact that we all need a good few hours of deep sleep each night in order to function at our best, and the catchy vibe and layered guitar sound of 'Soho' will probably be spinning round in your dreams tonight!

"We didn't really have a plan for the video," says frontman Dan Frend. "We've been sitting on some footage for a while now because although we've got a lot of things to look back on sonically, there's not too much of a visual element to the
band - or at least not until now."

The black and white clip, filmed in and around Blank Studios in Newcastle, shows the band at work and play. "We wanted to step out of our comfort zone and dip our toes in the water a bit. We like the whole black and white element though, it sort of retains a bit of identity in my eyes, something personal about the band," he adds.
