Like their single ‘Mind Pollution’ from earlier in the year, 'This Is Not A Protest' is another thumping, loud and fierce slice of rock from Sheffield's SHEAFS.
At just over two and a half minutes, the plundering bassline and propulsive riffs of the song - which the band describe as "a tongue-in-cheek reflection of the present that has been written to capture the frustration of deficiency in rock ‘n' roll icons, the music and the scene" - are wrapped around the catchy vocal chorus of “this is not a protest, the more you want yeah, the more you get less".
'This Is Not A Protest' is released on November 25.
