Up for some Weird Sex .... with 'Trevor'?

Words: Leah Raymond

Released on October 13 via Roadkill Records, Liverpool/ London proto-punk four-piece Weird Sex have shared their new single ‘Trevor’.

Following on from their debut EP, 'Trevor' comes in at 109 seconds of all-out mania that's all over way too soon.

“Lyrically," says frontman Joey Ackland, "‘Trevor’ is written in two or three parts, the first part of the song portrays childhood as a state of protected innocence, the world around the child and Trevor (the child’s teddy bear) is erupting but the uncorrupted mind of a child remains protected within its imagination."

Weird Sex play a free-entry launch show at The Lock Tavern, London on October 13.
