Track Of The Day :: Artificial Pleasure - Better Than Nothing

Words: Sam Geary

After getting 'Wound Up Tight' on previous single - which featured on the Little Indie Roundtable last month, and managed to reduce one of our reviewers to a state of near orgasm - Artificial Pleasure are back with another track from their upcoming second EP - also called 'Wound Up Tight' - released on December 8.

‘Better Than Nothing’ is well better than nothing - and better than much else you'll probably hear this week (or next).

Frontman Phil McDonnell says of the song’s lyrical inspiration: “Sometimes we’d rather have something that isn’t ideal, than have nothing. I’ve seen it in relationships that even though it’s not working, the thought of them being with someone else is the worst thing of all.”

Artificial Pleasure play their last - headline - show of 2017 at London’s The Lexington on December 12.
