London four-piece Indigo Husk have dropped a new single this week, ‘Waste Of A Year’.
While the title the band say refers to the track's lyrical references as "a self-help break up song, [that] challenges that ‘angry phase’ after a break up that so many people go through, where they feel like they have wasted their time with the wrong person," musically it is far from a waste of time to give a listen to.
Channelling a grungey garage rock energy with a punk vibe over three minutes as it drives its catchy hooked guitar sprawl home over a torrent of drums and Joe Hamm's Julian Casablancas-like vocals.
