Here at Little Indie we are 99-per-cent of the time overwhelmed by what we hear coming up from Australia, and Sydney three-piece SCK CHX and their new single certainly fall within that percentage.
Following last single 'Stuck In The Mud', new offering from the three - Matt Digges, Josh Pearson and Andrew Tudehope - 'Spinning Around', is another taster from their forthcoming EP 'Downward Dog, out February next year.
The punchy garage-psych/post-punk belter - the first song SCK CHX wrote together as a band - is just over two and a half minutes of "drums that knock you around like a bull out of a gate, whilst the crunchy guitars tear through you" - which we agree totally with.
'Spinning Around', "about losing control and feeling comfortable with that", was released on November 24 through SCK CHX's own Yeah Nah Yeah label.
