Benjamin Francis Leftwich returns with his new single ‘I Am With You’. It's the first new music we have heard from the singer-songwriter since the release of his second album 'After The Rain' in 2016.
“I make music for spiritual reasons," he once said, which may account for the long periods of quiet when seemingly there was no spiritual muse. There was, for example, a five-year gap between his 2011 debut album 'Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm' and 'After The Rain'.
‘I Am With You’ shows something of a new sonic direction, with subtle electronic elements coming to the fore, while still showing his sharp, affecting lyricism.The single is taken from his forthcoming new EP, due for release this summer through Dirty Hit.
