Los Angeles electro-pop duo Tori Schachne and Colton Toy, the two halves of Soft Streak, have made a good start with their first single, 'Ride'.
Described as "a song about action without caring about the consequence", 'Ride', released this week, marks a seductive entrance of coy lyrics ("touch my cheek and whisper little lies to me / I’m feeling pretty light out here") accompanying Schachne's enticing vocals and a sparkling instrumental quality that fuses organic and electronic elements in a rich balance.
