Official debut single 'Boyfriend' from Columbus, Ohio four-piece The Candescents; the latest signings to the Dirty Hit label who seem to have caught wind of them a while after the band put out an EP, 'Bedheads', back in 2015 (now removed online).
The sub-three minute number, released yesterday (June 8), precedes their (official) first EP, out later this summer, and exudes a sunny groove with Alex Harris delivering a pop-rock vocal over a few slacker rock guitar riffs and with some neat hooks thrown in.
