Los Angeles-based dreampop/ psych band Mama Kokomo are a new name on us, but this just released debut single from the three-piece (Krista Michaela, Hank Smith, Dorvin Borman) is an indication we will be hearing more of them.
Their fusion of dreampop with drum machine beats, laid-back guitars and ethereal vocals are juxtaposed against animated instrumentation on the four-minute-plus 'Primavera Feel'.
Look out for more from the band over the coming months, with an EP to follow later.
