'Punk Metalists' HeadAche drop new EP and share 'Keep Me Hiding'

Released last week, 'Keep Me Hiding' comes from the new 'BrainPain' EP by Hertfordshire four-piece HeadAche.

Described as ‘punk metal’, the track gives a taster feel of what to expect from this band who fuse elements of classic rock with a pop-punk coating - and by 'Keep Me Hiding' at least, is at odds with the EP's title, and even band name, come to that.

While they do kick at the power punk riffs and distorted down-tuned guitars, there is a wholly melodic rhythm that drives the punchy three and a half minute-plus song along; likely to induce neither headache or brain vexation, you are assured! Michael Button and Johnny Bannister share vocals and lend a mutual balance against the chugging bassline and determined drums.

HeadAche are: Michael Button - lead vocals, guitar; Jay Majer - bass, Johnny Bannister - guitar, backing vocals; Leon Parsons - drums.
