Track Of The Day :: Arcade Hearts - Bleach

Words: Sam Geary

Following their recent 'Humble',
Portsmouth's indie pop quartet are back with 'Bleach'.

The second single from their incoming self-titled debut EP - out September 21 via Republic of Music - sees the band once again pull 80s influences to the present day to create a song that feels alive, fresh and no doubt set to become a live favourite.

“'Bleach' is trying to tell a story of acute late night romance and the degradation of a mental-well being in a social age," says frontman Dan Surridge-Smith. "Not in a pretentious way, just a blend or being delicate and obvious with the subject.”
