** PREMIERE ** The Good Water - Colours
Words: Sam Geary
Birmingham three-piece The Good Water are back with their new psychdelic groover, 'Colours'.
Little Indie can bring you the first hearing of the three-minute retro track that melds the band's penchant for fuzzy riffs, smooth vintage organs and hypnotic drum beats, and a trip down Memory Lane with "60s West Coast harmonies and catchy Beatles-esque indie-pop melodies.
“'Colours' is a trip through a lucid dream,” explains frontman Rob Clements. “With kaleidoscope patterns floating down from the sky, and a perpetual feeling of elation. This song is all about obscuring reality whenever possible, and the inevitability of being humbled by our oneness with the universe.”
Catch The Good Water live this Saturday (March 30) for their single release show at The Night Owl in Birmingham. Other dates so far confirmed are May 18 at Actress & Bishop, Birmingham, and Rock the Beacon Festival on August 4.
The Good Water are: Rob Clements
(vocals, guitars), Stuart Webb (keys, vocals), Tom Fisher (drums, vocals)
