Bristol-based artist Mouse has shared new track 'Skin', the pulsating final self-produced cut from her debut EP 'Angels Never Die', out on February 26 via Leisure Records.
Compared to the fragility of previous single 'Love Me Like You're Gonna Lose Me', 'Skin' is a confident slice of hyper-pop. Inspired by Stripped-era Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga, 'Skin' pushes Mouse's sound to the edges of pop's sonic palette, its industrial production propelling forward it into the future.
"I adore this song because it sounds so messy," she says, "which perfectly describes so many physical experiences with someone else, even more so if you don’t know the person particularly well. My favourite section is the harmonies in the pre-chorus. I love how close they are to each other; it sounds really dark and heavy."
