Sydney garage rockers Crocodylus lay their 'Ghosts'

Words: Ellie Ward

The Sydney garage rockers - Josh Williams, Stephen Sacco and Mikel Salvador - came to Little Indie's notice last autumn with the scorching 'My Baby', now they deliver new banger, 'Ghosts'.

The grungy, fuzzy guitar track - out this week - yields intense riffs as it builds around Williams' hazy vocals and smashes a big-time chorus.

“It’s one of the first songs I ever wrote - I was listening to Ty Segall at the time," says Josh. "It’s gone through a lot of changes and we’ve fleshed it out over five years. I feel like this is a new sound and direction for us and hope people like it as much as we do.”

Catch Crocodylus live on May 24 at The Marlborough Hotel, Newtown with The Pinheads and Bec Sandridge.
