[Video] Bastille - Joy

With their third album, ‘Doom Days’, out on June 14, Bastille precede it with the video to their latest single, and album closer, ‘Joy’.

"This video looks at the things that bring us joy, when we think no one’s looking. Things that are done secretly, maybe compulsively, that we wouldn’t want other people to see. It’s fascinating that most people have a version of themselves they want to show in public - at work or online - and a version they don’t. We wanted to show it all," says frontman Dan Smith on the idea behind the visual, directed by Brain Wash, who have intercut real CCTV footage with clips of what people get up to when they think no one’s looking.

Bastille embark on a UK tour at the end of the year.
