Cardiff's Red Telephone have followed 'Victoria Park' from the second half of last year, with upcoming new release, 'I’m Always Thinking About You'.
Produced by Steffan Pringle (Estrons, Adwaith, Himalayas), and out on June 28, this latest track from the three-piece is something of a melancholic, sensitive beast, intricately layered with psychedelic hooks and singer Declan Andrews‘ voice - which has been variously likened to that of a young Green Gartside (Scritti Politti) - gliding lushly across the top as he sings of new relationship angst.
Red Telephone straddle several genres here on 'I’m Always Thinking About You', from experimental psych to shoegaze. Possibly their best work to date, it could be the one that proves to be their breakout track.
