Introducing :: London's school teen pop-punks Polarized Eyes

Words: Ellie Ward

Polarized Eyes are Katie, Amber and Harry. The three - all aged 14 - 15 - have been friends since they met at their North London primary school and started up as a three-piece last year.

While obviously they are still finding their way, both as young adults and as musicians, they seem to be thinking along the right lines. They're not wasting any time either, with a snazzy website already up and running, t-shirts, and several gigs already under their belt, and a video for one of their tracks, 'Storm', below.

They released their first EP, 'Prescription Lens' last month, featuring four self-penned, pop-punk. songs "full of teenage angst, political fury and lovelorn romance."

And they're not stopping there. 'Storm' has already been aired on BBC Radio 6Music's BBC Introducing Mixtape, with Tom Robinson describing it as "160 seconds of authentic, lo-fi high energy punk rock that would have put a smile on the face of their spiritual predecessor Poly Styrene of X-Ray Spex."

See their website for more.
